Stocks looked set to rally on Monday as oil prices retreated, helping to ease investors’ worries about higher inflation at the start of a week that will be defined by a Federal Reserve policy decision and a slew of mega-cap tech earnings.

S&P 500 futures rose 0.9%, while Nasdaq futures jumped 1.4%. Dow futures added 629 points, or 1.2%.

The three major indexes all dropped last week as tensions flared in the Middle East, driving up oil prices and bolstering the case for the Fed to hike interest rates.
