Let us delve deeper into the factors that have contributed to the company's outperformance.

Accenture is benefiting as enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) adoption shifts from pilots to scaled production. In third-quarter fiscal 2026, 100 additional clients initiated advanced AI projects, while average project size continued to rise. Larger AI programs are emerging among clients with mature digital cores. Notably, at least one in two advanced AI projects generates related data work, expanding demand across cloud, data and digital-core modernization. This broader AI-led demand deepens client relationships and increases the scale of multi-year transformation programs. Over time, rising AI adoption could support revenue growth and reinforce Accenture's competitive positioning across consulting and managed services.

In September 2026, Accenture launched several businesses aimed at emerging growth opportunities. Accenture Construct targets large infrastructure and capital projects tied to AI data centers, energy transition and infrastructure replacement. Accenture Trusted Wealth Ops applies agentic AI to wealth management, with a focus on faster onboarding and higher advisor productivity. Accenture Media Suite combines four agentic AI products across audience engagement, advertising, content operations and workflow intelligence, supported by more than 700 modeled media supply-chain processes. These launches broaden Accenture's exposure to AI-driven transformation across industries and reinforce its ability to combine technology, industry and functional expertise at scale.

Accenture continues to pair healthy profitability with substantial cash generation. In third-quarter fiscal 2026, operating cash flow rose to $3.79 billion from $3.68 billion a year earlier and translated into $3.60 billion of free cash flow after $186 million of capital spending. The company returned $2.2 billion to shareholders during the quarter through $1.2 billion in share repurchases and $1 billion in dividends. The quarterly dividend of $1.63 per share was 10% higher year over year. Consistent cash generation and rising capital returns support Accenture's financial flexibility and shareholder distributions.
