Dow Futures Rise as Investors Bet on a Fed Rate Hold

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures slipped 39 points, or 0.1%. Nasdaq 100 futures slipped 0.1%. The three indexes struggled for direction on Tuesday, but got a boost late in the trading session after New York Fed President John Williams said “there is no need for urgency,” signaling to investors that he thinks the next rate hike can wait.
