Maran Capital Management stated the following regarding Clarus Corporation (NASDAQ:CLAR) in its Q3 2026 investor letter

"We have been patient with Clarus Corporation (NASDAQ:CLAR), which is running a strategic alternatives process (in other words, a process to sell its two segments). It announced it had hired bankers back in May; we are hopeful that the process will culminate in sale announcements prior to year-end. We believe the value of its brands puts the fair value of the company at $6-8 per share, approximately twice where it closed the quarter. Recent comparable transactions, such as Mammut's sale for 12-13x EBITDA, support these valuations."
