The tech sector was leading today’s stock market bounce back, and chip stocks were a standout group.

Tech was the top performing sector in the S&P 500 by a large margin. The State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF was up 4.9%, while the next best performing sectors saw less than 1% in gains.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index was up 6.8% with several of its top performing components, like Lam Research, Applied Materials, Micron, and Astera Labs, seeing double digit gains.
