Big Tech stocks were getting some love from investors on Monday after the prospect of peace talks between the U.S. and Iran soothed Wall Street.

Roundhill's Magnificent Seven exchange-traded fund climbed 1.2% higher ahead of the opening bell. Google parent Alphabet, online retailer Amazon, Facebook owner Meta Platforms, and IT company Microsoft were all up by more than 1% in premarket trading.

Six of the companies that make up the Magnificent Seven have posted quarterly earnings in recent weeks, with investors reassured in particular by Microsoft maintaining its capital spending guidance. Chip designer Nvidia is set to report on Aug. 26.
