Tesla sold 124,800 vehicles in the U.S. in the second quarter, according to Cox Automotive. That was good enough for 50.5% market share, up more than four percentage points year over year.

It's the third consecutive quarter that Tesla has captured more than half of the market. Tesla's share rebounded after the expiration of the $7,500 EV purchase tax credit in September 2025.
