Blue-chip stocks were on track to slip on Friday as tensions between the U.S. and Iran drove up oil prices, adding to investors’ inflation worries.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures fell 68 points, or 0.1%. S&P 500 futures were up 0.1%, Nasdaq 100 futures also climbed 0.1%.

The three major indexes all rose the previous session, with an AI rally and cooler-than-expected wholesale inflation powering the S&P 500 to a record high.
