Stocks were on track to grind higher in thin trading on Monday, as investors piled into tech at the start of what is likely to be a quiet week for the market.

S&P 500 futures climbed 0.1%. Nasdaq 100 futures rose 0.5%. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures slid 72 points, or 0.1%.

The benchmark S&P 500 just notched a three-week winning streak. The gains came after data showed consumer and producer price inflation cooled in July, bolstering the chances of the Federal Reserve holding interest rates steady.
