Stock futures were rising Friday, putting the market on track to claw back some of its losses after bond yields’ move higher sparked a selloff the previous session.

S&P 500 futures climbed 0.3%. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 0.6%. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures added 165 points, or 0.3%.

Stocks dropped on Thursday, putting all three of the major indexes on track for a weekly loss. The declines came as bond yields snapped back, having briefly retreated on Wednesday after the Treasury Department said it would boost longer-dated debt buybacks. Soft retail earnings were another worry.
